ANSWERING THE CALL

My heart lights up
There’s a wonderful sensation that runs through my belly
The signal is going off
Something wants to come through
To ignore it would mean to leave myself
Instead, I feel my heart relax into permission
Permission for the words to pour out on paper
Without my mind second guessing it
How wonderful!
Creating.
It’s the most human thing we can do.
It’s the very pulse that keeps us alive.
Literally.
Sometimes it may feel like you need a certain level of “better” to create — a better idea, better materials, better body, better schedule, better voice, and just a little more money…
But this feeling of “better” you’re desiring? I believe that’s actually our desire to create.
It’s the very desire to co-create with reality!
The very desire to have influence over the things we feel need to be “better”. We want to dance with our ideas, materials, body, schedule, voice, and money — to be in deeper co-creation with our physical world and elevate. We want to feel what it’s like to change, transmute, and alchemize our reality into something that reflects what our soul yearns to experience. We want to feel our impact on this world and our ability to rise, help, love, and create something new. We want to exercise our ability to intend and allow for change. We desire to feel connected to our power, our light, and the spiritual help that’s all around us. Because at a deep level, we know the world needs it and it’s up to us to do it.
So why does this desire come disguised? Why do we often treat it like a spam call instead a direct call from our soul?
Why send it to voicemail? Instead of acknowledging, “oh my goodness, this IS what I was waiting for ALL along!”
Well that, I’m not too sure of. Maybe you’ve received real spam calls before, maybe you’ve been living disconnected from “it” so “it” feels unrecognizable, maybe somewhere along the way you learned “it’s just not good enough” and it’s not realistic to “believe in myself like that”.
From my experience, there are often a million things that need to be burned away so that you can let your genius and love shine from within.
While understanding what we are experiencing is crucial for our healing, it equally points to the need for finding truth through wisdom. Which is found in the process of trying (aka - creating). So I’m not sure it benefits us spending too much time ruminating on those questions as much as it does to keep walking through the fire of what it takes to listen to our heart. Allowing those questions to get resolved and healed along the way.
I think that’s what it means to create — to be so connected to the vision in our higher knowing and the feeling in our heart and to ask “who do I need to become in order to bring this to life?” To allow ourselves to be changed by the very creation process itself.
Saying yes to your heart and the gifts that lie within your heart, bringing those to life — is exactly what it means to become all of who you are.
I see you, all of you. Which is exactly why I know you got this.
